In 1975, I was sentenced to death. I have gotten off Death Row since then; I also have a bicycle. I invite abolitionists and bike enthusiasts to join me in "A Ride for Life"; we will ride from Springfield to Chicago in August and make several stops in towns along the way to dialogue with people about the Death Penalty. We will arrive in Chicago on the 27th of August in time to protest at the Democratic National Convention. We are asking all interested parties to give us your support at whatever level you can."
